Jasmine House

This Guest House, located behind a typical Southern California bungalow, and within a conventional urban neighborhood grid, addresses the requirements of a growing family needing more space for guests.  In this scenario, an existing garage is removed and replaced with a new two-story structure designed to accommodate these spatial requirements, along with site parking.  Slot openings are located within the exterior facade and roof to secure views of the adjacent neighborhood.   Strict municipal regulations create unique compact spatial conditions which consolidate functions and activities.
